So, you aren&#8217;t alone.  Don&#8217;t let your confidence suffer, though.  There are ways to change things.</p>
<p>One way to gain your muscle is to focus on the foods you are eating and how often you eat them.  If you want to gain muscle, you need to eat a lot of small meals that are evenly spaced through the day.  That&#8217;s because your body needs the right fuel constantly, in order to build the muscles that you desire.  Chicken, pasta, rice, and tuna, for example, are great fuels for your body.  That&#8217;s because they offer lots of carbohydrates and proteins to fuel it.</p>
<p><span id="more-365"></span>The next thing you need to do is to get enough sleep.  You might not view sleep as that important, but it is.  Your body uses the time that you are sleeping to repair and grow muscles, after all.  If you want to really gain muscle, you should be getting 8 or 9 good hours of sleep each night.</p>
<p>Of course, a big way to gain your muscle is to do weekly workouts at the gym, or in your home.  In fact, ideally, you should be working out three times every week. It&#8217;s important to challenge your muscles during your workouts, too.  If workouts are too easy, you won&#8217;t gain your muscle.</p>
<p>So, if you want more confidence and self-esteem and a body that you can be truly proud of, you need to take these steps.  That way, you can gain your muscle mass and enjoy life.</p>

<p>As for carbohydrates, there are plenty of those for you to pick from, too.  Rice, fruit, potatoes, grain cereals and oatmeal, for example, are high in carbohydrates.  So are mushrooms and green vegetables.  So, even if you consider yourself a bit picky, you have plenty of options, as far as diets to gain muscle go.</p>
